Photographer Richard Sharman, on the Music Photo List, points us to an article in the Irish press about where things currently stand in the fight between music photographers and Heineken Ireland, which stands accused of publishing music photos from the Oxegen music festival without permission.

In junior high, Greg Papazian was asked to be the house photographer at the Whiskey a Go Go. That was the early 70s and he was able to parlay that into career that lasted until punk took over the Strip. Now he’s showing some of his favorite prints in LA, December 6th. (thx BF)

“He Came to Rock,” a photo retrospective and biography of “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott will hit book stores on November 18th. Dimebag’s brother, Vinnie Paul Abbott, is publishing the book and will attend the book signings.
