Submissions
We’re constantly looking for useful content and skillful writers. Currently we need:
- Music book reviews
- Interviews of successful music journalists and photographers
- “How to” articles about music publishing
- “Behind-the-photo” articles (that tell the stories behind great music photos)
- Opinion essays dealing directly with music writing and photography
- FAQs
- Case studies involving successful music publications/sites
- Articles on political, legal and financial issues in the music press community
- Photo essays (must be to illustrate a topic of concern to the music press)
Remember, this is largest gathering of music journalists on the planet - people who create content all day long. They can be your toughest critics or your best friends. Either way you’ll learn quite a bit about your craft from them. They recognize filler and reward useful content.
Each article and news link is put to 2 tests before it’s posted it to the site:
- Will music writers and photographers find it interesting?
- Will music writers and photographers find it useful?
